What is vaudeville-postcards.com?
This is a web site for people interested in the British Music Hall / Vaudeville tradition. Whether you are a serious enthusiast or just plain curious, you will find all sorts of items here that will catch your eye. Of course, postcards are our main speciality and here you will find reprints of publicity posters (both in full colour and single colour), circus publicity posters and programme covers. We also offer postcards of theatre illustrations. All illustrations are signed by the resident-artist / owner of Vaudeville Postcards, Nick Charlesworth, and subjects range from London Theatres, Lost London Theatres, Provincial Theatres and Overseas Theatres.
We also stock a range of books, some of which are unique to us and others are quite rare. If you ever wanted to learn more about the world of Variety, why not browse the books page?
How do I order?
To order an item click on the "Buy" button conveniently located adjacent to it. This will show you your Shopping Bag. Here you can amend the quantity of each item. You can also specify your location (and calculate your postage and packaging). After making any changes you the "Recalculate" button. If you wish to carry on shopping, press the "Continue Shopping" button or press "Go Back" to return to the previous page.
If you just want to pay, press the "Go to Payments" button.
Remember that you can view your Shopping Bag at any time, by clicking on the red shopping bag icon on the left hand side of the product pages.

Shipping rates for postcards are as follows:

Please note the maximum order quantity for postcards is 140 per order.

How can I search for something?
There is a "Search This Site" facility on the left hand side of the product pages. Simply enter what you are looking for, press search and you will be presented with a list of pages which contain the search terms you have specified. Click on the page which interests you. To find what you are looking for on each page, press ctrl + F (or Command + F on a Mac) and type your search terms in the dialogue box.
